In the beginning of the year I made a decision that I somewhat regret. At the time, it seemed like a great idea and my emotions were also pushing me in the same direction but ultimately, I should have spent more time reflecting on all of the pros and cons including any long term consequences.
The decision I made resulted in the loss of money, but that was not the only concern. The choice I made had a cascading effect and there were suddenly other important elements that I didn’t factor into my decision. The outcome produced financial stress in addition to emotional and physical unrest that lasted several weeks.
I recognized that all of this could have been avoided if I had access to a tool that allowed me to throw all of my ideas into one place then be able to take a step back, examine what I wrote, then be able to have a big picture view of what I am dealing with so I can make a decision that is not based on emotion and limited information.
This is completely normal. When we make decisions on our own, we need a mental flowchart to grasp every possible detail and scenario to make an informed decision. Situations like this often require us to find a quiet place free of distractions, and write down our thoughts. A Decision Helper Tool is a great way to begin the process of problem solving and discovering creative solutions.
Now that would have been awesome if I had this tool back then!
And yet, if it wasn’t for that bad situation back in January, we wouldn’t have developed this tool to help people.
It turns out that not everything in life is completely bad, even though our journey has its challenges, good things often come from unfavorable events.
About this tool
This tool is designed to help you formulate good decisions for your life, especially those creative ideas to accomplish your dreams. It is not a Magic 8 Ball or an AI chatbot, instead it is an intuitive, yet simple design just to help you dump all of your thoughts into one place, so that you can be able to brainstorm all of your options without any distractions. We have made several iterations that aim to provide practical assistance for many users and we will continue to make updates every year.
How this tool works
As you type, the tool temporarily saves what you wrote for each prompt. When you are finished filling out all prompts, the tool will compile all of the questions and answers into one place to help you gain that Big Picture view I mentioned earlier. So, the more effort you place into filling out these prompts, the more insight you’ll gain from what you wrote.
Note: This website and tool is incapable of storing any data, including anything you type in this form. Nothing in this design has the technology to be saved. Only you have the ability to save your results. If at any time you want to start over, just refresh the page and begin at the first question again.
We’re happy to be a part of your journey and hope you find value in this simple tool.
