Welcome to the future! Perhaps you’ve heard of ceramic coating technology in the past. Well, I can certainly attest that this stuff is well worth the money and all the hype is true. Are you still waxing your car? There’s a better way!
I was skeptical at first
For many years I invested countless hours using a clay bar, polishing imperfections, and utilizing the finest carnauba wax. I’ve done that process for so many years, I undoubtedly became a master detailer. Back then I tried a few of the latest and greatest products on the market but I wasn’t impressed, so I stuck with carnauba wax.
About three years ago I kept hearing about ceramic coatings and nano technology to protect painted surfaces so I decided to do a little research. I found a couple of local shops that offered such a product including the labor to apply it. The prices ranged from $500 and up. I wasn’t ready to roll the dice on a product that “might” work, not for that price! So I continued doing more research and found a product I was willing to take a chance on.
I definitely recommend it!
I found a ceramic coating spray made by Mothers. The price was right and the results have been spectacular! So far I’ve applied it on two vehicles and I’ve been utterly impressed! Once you use this, you’ll never pick up a can of wax again!… ever! The long term shine and protection is unmatched! I highly recommend this product! Just make sure to buy Ceramic Spray Coating and “NOT” Spray Wax.
Pro Tip:
Use a brand new microfiber towel to apply the product and another one for buffing. I highly recommend applying two coats for maximum coverage, and I also recommend applying it to all painted surfaces such as wheels, B pillar covers, all plastic parts and trim, and weatherstrip; pretty much anything that can become damaged by the sun. And lastly, you may need to re-apply once per year depending on your environmental conditions.
