These days there are many great resources to keep use engaged in our pursuit for physical health; aka “getting buff”. Whether you are currently getting buff or plan to, there are some great tips and simple things I’ve learned along the way that I’d like to share with you. Most of it I know you’ve heard before but I believe you’re reading this for a reason. So let’s see if you are getting the most out of your gym time.
A healthy body is a strong body
At this point some of our New Year’s resolutions are still lingering on our to-do lists even though a couple months have passed. And no doubt you’ve read it before but truly, what we eat every day plays a big part in our physical appearance, mental health, and strength training goals. Yes, some people are able to live on fast food, kill it at the gym and still look great but that is certainly not sustainable. People who look buff and shredded can still have high cholesterol, end up with diabetes and heart problems. That is why training your mind and body to eat healthy will make your entire life so much better including a more enjoyable gym session. Yep I said it, you can actually enjoy going to the gym and gain muscle no matter how old you are.
